Summary
Luke’s impressions of Grogu’s father were quick and violent; an emptied light cruiser, a gleam of armour, and a display of raw, selfless love. He wants to know this deadly but gentle man from Grogu’s memories much better.
But what impression did he leave in return? And what does the Mandalorian want from him? They may have more in common than they realize.

Febuwhump prompt Day 11: Hallucinations
___Pain throbbed beneath his ribs and Din lost his grip on reality for a moment. The world slipped sideways and suddenly the image of Luke was on its side... he peered at it groggily through the new angle of his t-visor. A frantic voice was shouting at him, the holo shakey. After a moment, the ringing in his ears abated and Din heard sounds return.
“Din!”
“P-please. Luke.” He murmured. “I want to see my son, I want to- to-”
The man in the holo disappeared for a brief moment and when he returned, he had the small figure of Grogu held up. The child whimpered and squirmed sadly, reaching for him through the holo-feed.
“Din, where are you, tell me, please!” The man holding Grogu looked like he was running… the image kept shaking and Grogu’s ears were flopping up and down as his owlishly large eyes watered.
Din’s lips pulled into a smile beneath his helmet at the sight of the kid. His kid.
__Takes place maybe about a year after Ep. 16.

Summary
All Din wanted to do was check in on his son at the temple, instead he’s 30 years in the past and accidentally convinced some jedi into thinking he’s traveled forward in time rather than backwards. The force is weird.
Basically Din ends up in the clone wars but through his lack of pre-empire knowledge and Anakin’s willingness to jump to conclusions, Din has accidentally convinced the old jedi order that he’s an ancient mandalorian.

This was the Mand’alor.
And Luke was here, stooping over with one functional hand and clothes caked with sawdust and mud.
(Luke takes Grogu as his first student and tries to teach him as he builds a Jedi temple on Yavin. Those plans keep being interrupted by a certain Mandalorian who is trying to escape his own feeling of drowning.)

Summary
Din has spent three months trying to make peace with his solitude and his responsibilities and has done a terrible job of both. The worst part is that the Jedi and his son continue to cross his path, making it incredibly difficult to move on. Maybe that's because their story isn't finished.

“I’m so glad you could join us. I wasn’t expecting you to accept the invitation,” Luke said, trying his best to still sound calm and wise, even as he stood in front of the armored man topless and in ridiculous swim trunks with little tropical flowers on them. The Mandalorian merely titled his head.
“Never would’ve guessed that Jedi took vacations,” he replied, the voice modulator making it difficult for Luke to tell if the other man was joking or not. “But thank you for inviting me.”
AKA Din joins the Skywalker clan at the beach and feelings are revealed y'all.

Summary
Din Djarin is not running away from his problems. He absolutely is not. Even if he was, he certainly wouldn't be breaking into a laboratory on a hunch, nor would he be stealing strangely clairvoyant children out of said laboratory, or save their heavily pregnant mother at his friend’s behest. He certainly wouldn't choose to acquire even more children—not after losing his son to the last Jedi in fifty square parsecs! Nor would he ever choose to put the weight of an entire people squarely on his shoulders.
So shut /up/ Cara. Being Mand'alor does /not/ make him a king. Apparently, it just makes him the most eligible bachelor this side of Tatooine. FEATURING: The slowest burn of the two most powerful idiots in this—or any—galaxy.

Summary
Din wonders the last time he made a choice of his own, and decides it was when he first met the child. Something deep inside of him told him to rescue the boy, and keep him safe. He doesn’t regret it for a second. He fought for the toddlers sake, just as his covert had fought for him as a foundling. It wasn’t just creed, it was what was right. He was thankful for the teachings and care of his covert, but thought of his parents. As a child, if he had the choice to stay with his parents, he thinks he would have. Because it is hard to lose things you care about, especially at a young age. And that was when Din made another choice.

Summary
Luke stood over the pile of metal and sand with narrow eyes. He appeared seconds from tapping his foot. And that was when Han finally saw the damn thing.
It was a saber hilt. Silver, like most of them. It was laying innocently on the ground by the bike’s undamaged frame, as though it hadn’t just come rocketing from a mile away to take the Mandalorian out like a bomb.
(Han steps in to help Luke get back into the saddle with the whole Din-situation.)
