Very loosely based on "The frog prince." but of course with a genderbend. The beautiful Lilliana traded in her own beauty in order to safe her father, now however she is cursed to look like a horrendous toad like creature. Unless a man will love her and not be ashamed of her, a man whom would present her as his bride with no hesitation. Sadly such a thing would be impossible.

Summary
This is an idea I have had since I was a child.
Once upon a time in a land faraway, magical beings and humans found a balance in which to live. Side by side they forged a future and created many great kingdoms. As time passed the magic began to fade, and with it left many of the creatures. Fairies began to fall asleep, trolls melted into the rocky mountains, and mermaids slipped further kingdom into the oceans.
Hundreds of years later a child will be forced to make a desperate choice. Restarting the cycle of magic the creatures begin to wake up and rejoin the humans who have long since forgotten them.
Not all is as it seems, for while many stories tell of the kindness these beings may show, there are many more forgotten ones of the evils and cruelty they possess.
