Most days for me were simple. I spent my time in the greenhouse or studying quietly in my room. I helped Shinobu with her pharmaceutical practices and helped Aoi tend to the sick or injured that we were housing. In between those tasks, I was surrounded by loving and kind people that I ate with and laughed with. In general, it was a more peaceful existence than I thought I deserved.
