Chuuya rolls his eyes. Sometimes he wishes Dazai wasn’t such a mule, stubborn and bratty. But it was his mule, and he doesn’t enjoy the idea of not spending a day without that bastard around him.
“Stop being so stubborn, drink it all down, and maybe I will kiss you,”

“So, you went to a pumpkin patch together, which you do every single year, with Chuuya.” Dazai nodded happily. Oda nodded back, speaking slowly to get the point across.
“Chuuya, the same Chuuya who told Ango to ‘go die’ when he complimented his ponytail, agreed to let you compare his hair to every pumpkin you saw, and then proceeded to pay for the one you found that matched, no questions asked. Then, he allowed an employee to say you two were a couple, and even accepted it in front of you. And now you are confused as to why he didn’t correct them.”
Dazai beamed at him and clapped his hands together.
“Exactly! Odasaku you’re always so smart! I knew you would get it!”
Oda just chuckled wryly as Ango pressed his fingers to his temple.
“So what’s the problem then?”, Oda shrugged.
Dazai and Chuuya have been best friends for ten years, attached to the hip even after all of this time. But, what will happen when Chuuya disrupts the precious balance of their friendship by not correcting an assumption that they are a couple? How will Dazai react?

"Dazai-san," With a voice sung for panic, Atsushi breathlessly calls out for the brunet with an abrasive tone, his irises subtly shaking as he points outside to where a ruby-like figure is moving towards them. "What's that?" he continues, furrows scrunched up from overflowing curiosity and denounce. Dazai raises a brow, curiously turning to where Atsushi had pointed. It consequents him in an aghast distress, gurgling: "That's-" but cuts himself off when the figure made an agonizing shriek.

The boy, Nico -no, he couldn't be, he just couldn't!- looked at him, "Oh, it's you. This is kinda awkward."
Dazai reached for his gun, eyeing the kid who's bleeding corpse he's stuffed into a trunk just weeks ago, "Answers. Now."

Dazai is a mystery to most, to his coworkers, his friends, even the civilians on the street. No one truly knows who he is. His facade of humor and his seemingly carefree attitude fools most. He hides his past actions and crimes away from the people he is closest with.
Though he does believe that Ranpo knows, and has known since he walked through the front door of the agency. In a way, he is glad to know that someone is potentially watching his actions with such care. -
