Summary
Mountains rose in the backdrop, holding up a sea of aether so bright and blue and holy, Sova felt all his pieces settle like silt in a riverbed. It didn’t matter the forest if the sky was the same, it was home for a hunter who spent so much of his life beneath it. Pines and firs shook in the wind, and the ruff of Sova’s coat mirrored it as he stepped towards the entire land. Birds called, foxes squeaked, and so, so many other things sang out to him.
“I am home, my friends,” Sova whispered back, shifting the quiver on his shoulders one last time and running his index finger on the engraving of his traditional bow. He stepped onto the ramp that lowered, snow still falling in a sprinkle to melt on his nose.

Sage directs Sova to spend a day away from work, and he spends it reminding himself who he is and what he does best.

"Yeah," Bucciarati agreed. He gave Abbacchio a curious look. "What did you have in mind?"

"Yeah, no arguments." Pei Ming looked ready to throw the Water Master over his shoulders like a naughty child as he crossed his thick arms. "We're going to see snow and you're coming."
Shi Wudu looked between the two of them and heaved a heavy sigh. "I have so many better things to do with my day." He pointed out.
Shi QingXuan's lower lip started trembling as his big round eyes filled with fake crocodile tears.
Which is how he found himself knee deep in a snowdrift, arms crossed and scowling as Pei Ming held his cape and Shi QingXuan literally frolicking across the drifts of snow between two mountain peaks.

It’s a two-person effort to peel each other out of their figure-hugging jeans, but soon enough it’s another discarded article of clothing thrown absentmindedly in the room.
