Summary
This is an experiment! I have a lot of snips that I intended to use for Replica, but was never able to. Some were torn apart and had pieces used in other chapters without appearing. Others simply have been forgotten in the WIP folder. The story has progressed in such a way that I've accepted I can't use most of these in the actual work, but there are still many that I enjoy and feel would stand up well as supplementary material.
Given how long the updates for Replica take, I thought posting outtakes would help keep me writing as well as keep people interested. ( It's also how I may answer questions or prompts for Mim, if any readers have them.) For the most part, they'll be posted in chronological order.
This should likely go without saying, but these are best enjoyed if you have read my main story "Replica".

Summary
Following the events of Prey, Project Cobalt yields the first successful attempt in a long series of experiments implanting mirror neurons in a Typhon. Outside of the rebuilt Talos station, humanity struggles to survive on the Martian and Lunar colonies. As the coral spreads, the pressure on the team behind Cobalt continues to grow.
'Morgan' is now tasked with becoming the bridge between the two species, but first he needs to learn how to be human. It would be a daunting enough task without the phantom memories, the nightmares, and the increasing evidence that not everything is as it seems.

Honestly I suck at title's and summary's its just a short story about Morgan and Danielle before the actual events of the game. If it gets some feedback I might make a short follow up for it.

Summary
Alone. Afloat. Coral draped across the skyscrapers of evacuated cities. The white glow of the full moon obfuscated by the writhing shape of something that should not be. Think of all the people you lost. Think of how many more you inadvertently killed trying to save anyone else. Alex said "you did everything you could with the information you had," but Morgan still knew that this was his own fault and no one else's. And no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't escape the scars, physical and psychological, left on him from his attempts. He couldn't move on to damage control.
What if someone else could have done better?
...What if they already had?

How deep is your love?
Soldier. Professor. Researcher. Disgraced.
Twenty-four million dollars paid in exchange for her taking the fall for Talos I, we'll take care of the rest, Catherine Yu said. She lied: eight years later, Detroit is overrun by the same monstrosity. But hey, what else was new? Chisato Richmond knew better than to trust the Yu's even before she had the misfortune of marrying the illustrious Morgan Yu.

As Morgan Yu begins his first round of Neuromod testing, a fresh round of TranStar recruiting brings Aislinn Kelly to Talos I as part of the maintenance crew. Assigned regularly to his office starting on his first day of testing, she, a lowly maintenance worker left in the dark, and he, the Vice President of TranStar and head of the sciences division, will end up connecting under the absolute worst circumstances.
After all, TranStar is up to something in the bowels of the station, and Morgan knows about it. All of it. He just... keeps forgetting. Or remembering. Or both. And she is a constant.
Things are going to go perfectly well, though... right?

Summary
Six's life has been sink or swim since they woke up in a recreation of a dead man's memories to absolute chaos. Murderous aliens, dead humans every five feet, and choices they're positive they aren't qualified to make. Unfortunately, reality isn't much kinder.
They were made to bridge the gap between two species so different they can't even communicate, and no one can actually tell them how to do it.
The TranStar Board of Directors want a weapon, not a person.
The friends they thought they'd made died years ago, and the brother they don't have may well be untrustworthy.
And that dead guy? Maybe not as dead as they'd like, since his memories won't leave them alone.
