Summary
Set immediately following the events of Season 1, "Two Ships Adrift at Sea" follows the story of Stede and Ed finding their way back to one another.
It really could have been a much simpler thing, truly, but unfortunately the two unknowingly dance away from one another rather than closer, with no small bit of emotional pain resulting. Luckily Ed stumbles across the one person, besides Stede, who may be able to help him make some sense out of what happened, while Stede manages to build a bridge across the rockiest of waters.***UPDATES FRIDAYS***

Summary
Ed Teach is as indie as indie gets. He paid his last crew $30. Usually crafty was enough, but donuts and brisket could only go so far. Even trading work was dwindling. And then he gets an offer from independently-wealthy Stede Bonnet, who has dreamed of making movies since early childhood. How can Ed say no to the opportunity, and the cash?

Summary
“Do I still make you happy?”
Ed suddenly wished he hadn’t offered, but he had given Stede his word, and they weren’t going to fix whatever they were without being honest. They both knew when Ed said on the beach that Stede made him happy that he had been saying so much more than that, and now Stede was asking if it was still true.
“Yeah,” Ed whispered, “think so.”
“Well good,” Stede was blushing, but he didn’t pull his gaze away, “you make me happy, too.”
They were still in love.
Ed let out a shaking breath, waiting to see if Stede would do something, anything, to move their relationship forward. Stede watched him just as closely, like he was waiting for permission.
“Think you should probably kiss me now,” Ed whispered, the tension in the room suddenly crushing.
“Would that be alright?”
“Yeah.”
“Lovely.”

Summary
So the bludgeoning of Nigel Badminton doesn't go off properly. Caught in the attempted braining of a Navy officer, Stede Bonnet manages to argue that The Revenge can--and should--be a privateer vessel! With a month to prove that they're worthy of a letter of mark and not the hangman's noose, Stede and the crew come up with a daring, foolhardy strategy to capture, well... pirates.
When they somehow manage to take The Queen Anne's Revenge and Blackbeard prisoner, it's more than they ever expected! Plus, there's this hot captured "foreign nobleman" in Blackbeard's brig who insists Captain Bonnet calls him Ed? Things are looking up...

Summary
Alma once belonged somewhere, she was pretty sure.
Once, before Captain Anne.
Once, before him.
She often dreams of them, her people from before. There’s a woman painting next to a kind-faced man, a dark-haired boy running after her with a laugh, and a man who smiles as she places half of a petrified orange in his hand.
Mother. She whispers in her mind. Brother. Father.Sometimes there’s another man, though he’s little more than a shade in her head. He holds the hand of her father proudly as he looks upon her with gentle eyes.
Ed. She thinks. He’s her Ed.
Not that she knows what the hell that means.

Summary
“Maybe they’re buggering?” It takes Stede a moment to realize that he must’ve asked that last question out loud, and Roach’s comment is a reaction to it. And yeah… that might’ve explained them disappearing for an hour or so, but none of them are eighteen anymore… “Or… they could be taking a nap.”
“A nap?” Stede had never thought of that. “I… I don’t know that Izzy knows what a nap is.”
“Of course he does.” Roach waves him off, “He just needs a bit of help… relaxing. Frenchie whipped him up some incense… sandalwood, I think? It’s been doing wonders.” Stede didn’t know about that. He tucks the little nugget of information away (because isn’t it awfully ironic that the man who is constantly bitching about the chances of him accidentally lighting the ship on fire has been lighting incense in his room this entire time), before asking:
“You really think that they might be… napping together?” Stede whispers, as if he’s asking about something quite scandalous.

Summary
Ed has been subtly trying to trigger Stede's as-yet-unseen libido because he is well and truly ready to move past just kissing. Nothing seems to work, so he comes up with a - frankly, quite hairbrained - plan to present himself as a sexy, conquering hero.
Things, unsurprisingly, go sideways when Ed himself is abducted, but it turns out that Stede is quite the sexy, conquering hero himself.
