Summary
Sapnap decides to pay a visit to Dream in prison and finds him in a very worrying state. Forcing Sam to let Dream out, Sapnap takes his friend home.
Dream is out, but there are many questions that must be asked.
Such as, why was Dream completely naked and lying in a pool of blood when Sapnap found him?
-=<+>=-Dream is rescued from prison, where he has been continually abused- physically, emotionally, and sexually- for months.
Neither Dream nor his new caretakers are ready to face the truth of what happened behind those bars.

"It's a day like any other, nothing new, nothing special. He doesn't even remember when exactly it got bad again, but suddenly the days started to blur together until ‘today’ didn’t matter anymore because it's as repetitive as tomorrow. Every day he will wake up feeling tired, grab his phone and scroll through social media platforms for the next few hours. He doesn't even try to get up and make himself a meal most of the time, the mere thought of moving making him want to pull the sheets back over his head and fall into a chasm of unconsciousness again."
or; Dream's mental health is getting bad again and because of a very stupid and spontaneous idea, he is suddenly living with two childhood friends he hasn't seen in over five years. It makes everything so much more complicated than it has to be but Dream isn't sure if he actually regrets it.

Karl never meant to hurt anyone but he did. He hurt the people he cared about the most and he can’t turn back the pain.
In an office where no one knows books are all over the floor, ghosts are floating over a person, and blood splattered across the floor. This person seems to be dying, Correction he can’t die, why? Because he's a glitch.
A book glowing, in whispers all around with that the person was gone. Fire burns, Unresolved Tension, missing fiancée, a mask that smiles, a white castle, a black castle, copies of that person, but that person is nowhere to be found. See? Not that Simple.
Except for time, apparently.When you live in a world run by three lives you should have three lifes too right? But there's only two people who don’t. The mask man who’s in chains, The glitch, and that’s it. All the man wanted to do was HELP. Is this man immortal or just a glitch? The white castle seems to be pretty happy with what it has done. The other side was different; it was crying out for it’s owner. Who is it’s owner? The person ISN’T a glitch their from the void. And the feeling of hurting someone still stays even if they never wake up.

"Sir, I don't know what you've been drinking lately, and you shouldn't being drinking anyway, you look like you're barely even fifteen," The woman said, stopping halfway when Tommy interrupted her with an offended squawk, "but Business Bay is barely even a port side town. No one goes there really, and I've been there myself to know that place is already struggling enough in the economy, that his majesty King Philza will probably be getting rid of it soon enough."

Crescent Isle has been a dragon hunting village for centuries. Ranboo’s heard enough history lessons from his father, from Dream, from everyone. Dragons are beasts that plague this earth and must be brought down. Dragons are monsters and must be killed. Dragons are what killed his father and he must be avenged.
So Ranboo trained. And trained. And continues to train.
Ranboo hates dragons. He wants to hate dragons. He does hate dragons.
Yet part of him cannot help but be curious. He sees the pictures in the books and the occasional attack offers him genuine encounters, and it intrigues him. There’s something about them that makes him wonder.

Or; Ranboo is next in line to be chief. He feels worthless, because he can’t even kill a dragon.
And then he shoots something down. Not something, but someone.
(Meanwhile, Dream is hellbent at getting revenge).

Is it worth risking everything?
Is it worth approaching the sun and combusting before he can even reach it, for the sake of the experience that only he ever gets, for the chance to be with someone brighter than the rest of the world, for getting that much closer to the bright star across a vast night sky?
George is the sun, and Dream can’t tell if he loves or hates getting burnt.or, Dream is not good at self-acceptance or being not-straight, so he does a lot of stupid things and then has to pick up the pieces. Also, bravery is difficult.

Summary
Despite what a lot of people seem to think, if you were to ask Dream who his best friend was, it wouldn't be Sapnap or George. Hell, it wouldn't even be Bad, and he's one of the best muffin-heads around! Sure, Dream might say it's one of those three, but none of them can even come close to who his real best friend is.
After all, they've both known each other since what feels like the dawn of time.
or:
