Summary
Dream, George and Sapnap are back at Dantalion Academy for their second year. Much has changed. Hell- Dream is pretty sure George has become a different person just over the summer. And with a new group of first years, including the son of the king, things at Dantalion are sure to be different from last year, aren't they?
How will Dream navigate the shifting dynamics between himself and his two closest friends? What about when new rivals, old friends, and his familial obligations are thrown into the mix? With tournaments, Technoblade, and the administration all standing between him and what he wants, how far will Dream go to protect those he cares about?
Fic is three parts, would advise reading First Year before this one, but I'm not your mom. I can't tell you what to do. Lol. SLOWBURN. Friends to lovers, and friendships are as real and important as the slash.

The front door opened, and light footsteps entered the home. Tommy jolted up immediately, instinct making him shove the newly-made shirt under the bed and down an invis pot. Carefully, he approached the doorway to the guest room and peeked out into the living room, where the intruder was currently poking around. If it was Techno, he would've announced himself, and Tommy was sure Phil would do the same if the older man came over, which meant this person was someone else.
The person straightened out and stepped out of the shadows near the front door, and Tommy had to keep himself from gasping. Because not ten feet away from him was his enemy and abuser. Dream.

George struggles a lot with his self image. After being in a toxic relationship, he's left with horrible anorexia. Nobody else knows about George's suffering behind the scenes, and he'd like to keep it that way.
Dream starts to notice that something is off with his best friend. He isn't quite sure what's going on, but he's determined to find out in order to help George with whatever's bothering him.
Things escalate, and George's health starts to deteriorate at an alarming rate. Dream just wants to help... but in the end, it'll all be up to George.
