Ziggy knows that’s ridiculous of course. Niklaus is an old and famous demon. Horror stories have been spread about him for thousands of generations. Towns wiped out. Plagues. Death. Vengeance.
Anything your heart desires in exchange for whatever he wants. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. Balancing the playing field. It could be your soul, your first-born child, your wealth, your spouse. Anything yours under the sun.
Or: Ziggy is a witch, Nick is a demon, and he has something she wants.

“It’s nice,” she told him. “You have a nice smile. I just haven’t seen it before, really, because you tend to brood a lot.”
“Oh. Sorry.”
“You say sorry too much,” she commented lightly, but her eyes remained bright.
She didn’t remove her grip from his, and Nick was too stupefied to do anything about it either.
“Tell me,” Ziggy said, looking over his shoulder into the distance. He turned to find Kurt laughing with some other Sunnyvaler campers. Other footballers and jocks. “How do you feel about putting your proclivity for spiders to good use?”

“You shouldn’t have done that,” Alice says, scowling a little. “I can take care of myself. I don’t need a babysitter.”
Cindy just looks at her. “I don’t want to be a babysitter either,” she says. “I already have one kid sister, I don’t need another.”
“Great—”
“But I would like a friend though,” Cindy blurts out, looking at her with those shiny blue eyes. “I haven’t ever really had a friend before.”
Alice blinks. Once. Twice. It doesn’t make any sense that someone like her could know loneliness the same way Alice does, and yet—
Cindy looks so earnest she doesn’t have the heart to say no.
“Fine,” Alice says, offering Cindy her hand. “Friends.”
There’s a beat before Cindy takes it, shaking it excitedly. Her hand is warm, her skin soft, and Alice feels her heart flutter.
“Friends,” Cindy agrees, grinning.

“Nothing!” Cindy retorts defensively, squinting at the beam in her face. “I'm clean."
"Uh-huh…” he utters dubiously before shaking his head in disappointment. “Thanks a lot for sharing with the whole class.”
"I'm clean!" Cindy insists, offended. "Just a little…” she trails off and suddenly sneezes. “Under the weather."
“Bless you,” Arnie hums sympathetically, switching off the light. He moves the sunglasses back up his nose. "Been there. Just gotta ride it out."
"Plan on doing exactly that," Cindy vows. “With a bit of Tylenol. Got any?”
“Really Cindy?” Ziggy glares at her.
“Then we don’t need to disturb Nurse Lane,” Cindy justifies. “Well Arnie?”
“That looks like something that would take a lot more than Tynelol to fix."

Sam's Dad is the head coach of Shadyside's most prominent football team. There were no rules except his one: No dating any of the players. This was never a problem for Sam- until the girl she tutored back in high school and had the biggest crush on got drafted to her Dad's team.
(Just to be clear, this is not American Football. It's soccer (or as I know it, football) I don't know how long I'll keep this one going but we'll see how it does.) I've got a lot more I'm working on but you could consider this a test run. Also, everyone is around 22/23/24 years old except for Ziggy and Nick who are around 17/18)
