4 Works in Catra & Kyle & Lonnie & Rogelio (She-Ra)

“...” Catra looks up, exhaling softly before turning to meet her gaze. “Is war necessary?” She whispers, not quite looking at the princess. “No, I don't think it is. So why do people find it necessary?”
“...I don’t understand.” Glimmer whispers.
“Etheria is no longer in a place where problems can be solved by talking.” She shakes her head as she starts to walk towards the vessel. “We might breathe the same air, fight the same war, but the worlds we see are too different for us to solve by talking. War changes people.” She confesses softly. “Changes the reason for fighting. And this war has long since stopped being waged for honour and ideals.”
Catra never predicted her ascension to second in command, nor for the problems that would arise from it.
Including the cataclysm of Shadow Wavers paperwork, Hordaks terrible leadership, Scorpia becoming a minder, Entrapta becoming a part-time therapist and the slight issue of the war hiding secrets that she’s slowly opening and would very much like to remain closed.
A war rages on Etheria, questions lay unanswered and a woman lays trapped in her mind.

Adora and Catra grow up in foster care with a horrible excuse for a parent. It sucks, but they have each other...until they don't.
When Adora is taken away, Catra's life changes forever. 10 years later, Adora is an aspiring investigative journalist at Brightmoon Times writing for Glimmer, who she lives with along with their friend Bow. She thinks life is good but doesn't realize what she's missing. On the other hand, Catra has always known what she's missing. She's finally pulling her life together, has a family and band called The Horde, and is getting sober.
When the two meet again, it's not an idyllic fairy tale--it's a mess, and overwhelming, and incredible, but so, so confusing. And it's right. It's always been right.
“Could I get your number?” they ask, as if they’re not still a completely faceless enigma that’s been making one-sided passes for two weeks now.
“So I’m supposed to exchange messages with someone who I wouldn’t even be able to pick out of a police lineup if this ends up being just a long con to get me to join a cult?”
To her shock, they place an elbow on the bar, lean over, and lower the hood.
“Does this increase my chances?” they ask with a goofy smile.
They're cute. Like 90s teen drama cute. Like Catra could see them singing fucking annoying pop songs outside her window cute. That’s not good. This person is absolutely trouble.
“Fuck,” Catra breathes out. It kinda feels like someone just kicked her right in the gut in a thrilling way. “You couldn’t have the decency to make this easier by being ugly?”
Catra finally meets the woman of her dreams/nightmares. A goofball blonde with big captain save-a-ho energy. She's easy going, gets Catra's jokes, and likes her band, even though it's pretty shitty and Catra's sabotaging them from the inside. It's just a shame that the girl is already competing on a reality show for 20 women's hearts.
“Here we are, before the stars have returned to the empty vault of the sky. What can one do with knowledge of events that have yet to occur, but change the story?”
Adora doesn't wake up. Catra goes back in time with the help of Etheria and the Heart to save Adora. Saving the world is just a byproduct.
At least this time she has her therapy cat.
