Summary
Stede Bonnet has chosen the town of Dos Corazones for his mid-life crisis. He came because there was a tall ship for sale, and he's always dreamed of owning one. The ship he buys has a sordid past - one he's initially unaware of. All its previous owners have been pushed out of town before the ship ever set sail.
One night at a party, he meets a man named Ed who owns the bar across the street. The two form an instant connection, but they're about to find themselves on opposite sides of a struggle to control the town's future.
---
This story was formerly Gentleman Pirate Tours. I've renamed it because that implied a straightforward romance, when it's more of a small town with a secret vibe. Mystery. Infidelity. Crime. Skeletons in the closet. And two men who find a connection that threatens to burn them all down. -

Summary
Salvage diver Ed Teach is no stranger to the story of Blackbeard and the Queen Anne's Revenge- after all, the famous pirate is a distant ancestor. But then Professor Stede Bonnet, maritime archaeologist and many-times-great-grandson of the original, waltzes through the door of his shop and requests his services in finding the wreck. What are the odds?
Ed's had enough of the cutthroat world of salvage diving, and he's this close to leaving it all behind. But Bonnet's quest sparks an interest he hasn't felt in years, and he agrees to help the oddly charming man. Nothing to do with the fact that the Queen Anne might just be the last treasure trove Ed needs to escape his life. Definitely nothing to do with the way Bonnet's cheerful enthusiasm makes his heart skip a beat.
Together they'll hunt for the wreck... and then they'll reckon with what comes next.

Summary
Stede Bonnet had every intention of meeting Edward Teach, just perhaps not quite like this. And Ed, he had really believed the man he'd only known as the Gentleman Pirate really had taken one look at him and decided he wasn't worth his time. It takes some time for the pair to realize who each other are, but once they do, there's nothing either of them want more than to find a way to reunite Stede's... whatever it is back with his body.
Well, Ed can think of one thing he'd want in addition to that: for Stede to remember who he is when they succeed.
It may or not go all according to plan.Based sorta kinda on Just Like Heaven

Summary
Ed says, "You gotta quit beating yourself up, mate."
"I will, I will," says the guy, in a tone that implies he's going to dwell on the events of this night until the heat death of the universe.
Ed tentatively pats his shoulder. "It's really not that bad."
It really wasn't. It wasn't fun, sure, to walk home after work on a dull Wednesday night only to have some rando come pelting up to him yelling a name that wasn't even his: "Edgar! Edgar, I want to talk to you!"

Summary
Planning his only daughter's wedding would have been stressful enough, not to mention his persistent doubts about her even getting married in the first place, but now, NOW, Ed also had to be on the lookout for three of his ex-lovers running around the island. One of which he’d rarely interacted with sober, one of which he’d parted with on bad terms, and one of which had absolutely broken his stupid fucking heart.
Mamma mia, here he goes again.
AKA: A Mamma Mia AU in which Ed is Donna and Stede, Izzy, and Jack are the three Dads™️

Summary
Edward Teach woke up the morning of July the 3rd the way he had for the past month: next to Stede Bonnet in their shared quarters on The Revenge. This morning, though, instead of being asleep next to him, his lover was propped up on his side, head hanging over his with a smile brighter than the sun.
"Happy anniversary, Ed!" Stede grinned and kissed his forehead. "And good morning, of course."
"...What?" Ed looked up at the other man, heart pounding in his chest as he tried not to seem too confused. "It hasn't been a year already, has it?"
"No, just a month, or thirty one days!" Stede exclaimed. "I came back to you on June the third, a wonderful day, which is when we officially became what Lucius calls 'an item.' That makes today our one month anniversary!"
Ed couldn't help but stare as Stede got up and started excitedly pacing the room, hands waving as he talked.
"I have a full day of fun, romantic activities planned for us!" The gentleman said jauntily. "And a gift! How could I forget? You're going to love it, darling."
---
One month after the reunion, Stede plans an elaborate anniversary celebration for Ed. -

With only three weeks left in their Boise part of the tour, they decided to party the night away with drinking, dancing, and... falling in love!?
Edward Teach, musician and turned bar owner, shows Stede a thing or two about line dancing. And so much more.
Based on fanart from @forrestfolke on Twitter (link in chapter one), but absolutely evolved into something so much bigger than a one shot. Updates every Friday (ideally lol) and follow me on Twitter (@gentlepanpirate) for more!!

Summary
“We should go on a date.”
Oluwande looked up from his phone and squinted at Jim, who lay sprawled across the other end of the sofa, legs taking up the space between them. “… you feelin’ alright there? Could’ve sworn I heard you say we should go on a date.”
Jim scowled and kicked lightly at his side, the scowl only deepening when Oluwande caught their ankle in one hand. “I’m serious.”
After 8 months of dating, Jim and Oluwande go on their first date. They wanted someplace easy, affordable, and most of all – low key. Which absolutely did not fucking explain why they ended up agreeing to go to Blackbeard’s Bar and Grill (and Gift Shop) - the restaurant they both worked at - for their first fucking date.

Summary
Despite Stede's half-hearted glares and claims that one day he's going to give him a heart attack, nine out of ten times Ed still finds himself leaning against the door frame that separates the gift shop from the restaurant, smiling softly to himself as Stede counts the day's earnings.
If he's being honest this right here, watching his husband close up shop, humming under his breath, foot no doubt rhythmically tapping to the hushed beat – which will pause here and there as the tip of Stede's tongue darts out to wet his lips. Leaving a lovely shine behind, a silent call to be kissed – and we're getting side tracked here – the point is that this is Ed's favourite part of the day. And it's only a matter of time before Stede notices his presence.
