Beanie boy was already holding his gun. His hair was stuck to his face in soaking strands and his eyes were crazed, his lips twisted. I loved it. “Let me get this straight,” he said, taking a step forwards, scratching the back of his head with his gun. “You two jumped into a stranger’s car after ignoring every sign pointing to the fact that you were riding with two killers. I mean, did you not see the blood on the seats? Couldn’t you smell the bodies rotting in the boot?”

The Blossom twins went out on a boat ride just after dawn. Only Jason Blossom returned alive, his twin slumped over him, shot in the chest, their clothes (once white) drenched in her blood. Sheriff FP Jones has no choice but to arrest the Blossom boy. Jason swears he didn’t kill her. She was his twin.
Shooting that girl was an accident, but Fred had to admit that he was glad to benefit from the boy’s arrest. Murdering Hiram had been a lapse of judgement on Fred’s part. Things can go back to normal. Except that Hermione has shown up and insisted they marry.
Veronica Lodge doesn’t know that she believes that Jason Blossom killed her father. His sister? Sure. Everyone has been whispering about how close – too close – the Blossom twins were. The facts for her father don’t add up. Why would her mother have uprooted their lives from the Dakota and Spence to Riverdale and – ugh – public school, and why would she marry a blue-collar construction worker if she wasn’t trying to hide something? Her new stepbrother is a typical jock, and the only person whose remotely caught her eye is his girlfriend, Betty.

Cheryl Blossom wakes up to a town in mourning. Four of her classmates have been found dead, and suddenly, she is the only one who can see them. Archie Andrews appears in her bedroom, disheveled, confused and mute. Also very dead. Betty Cooper and Jughead Jones decide to stay with (haunt) Kevin Keller, and Veronica Lodge is nowhere to be seen. Though there's a catch. Neither of them can speak, and are desperately trying to communicate to Cheryl how they died, and who killed them. Though it sucks that neither of them are any good at charades and Cheryl can't lip read to save her life. Cheryl and Kevin have to race against time. Find the killer and bring them to justice, or suffer the same fate as their friends.
