Summary
When everyone found out that Izuku was quirkless, Katsuki was furious… at first. The two fell out, yeah, but it only lasted a few months.
When Katsuki saw some of those extras that followed him attacking Deku, HIS Deku, he snapped. His body moved on its own, and he found himself punching, screaming, and blasting them until they ran off. Izuku looked up with tears streaming down his face, shocked.
Katsuki placed a hand on his knee as he bent down to help Izuku up. “Don’t listen to a word they say, Deku. You’re still gonna be a hero. I’ll make sure of it.” Katsuki pulled the smaller boy up before lightly punching his arm. “Not as good as me, obviously. You can settle for number two.”
Izuku giggled wetly and hesitantly countered, “We’ll see, Kachan. If you’re helping me, then I’ll surpass even you someday!”
Katsuki scoffed and led the way back to his house. “Yeah, I’d like to see you try!”

Little did he know that this man would save him from everything he never knew he needed saving from.

Stain was just doing his rounds. Going down alleyways, searching for false heroes, exterminating the plague that had infected hero society. He had never anticipated that he'd run into (or more accurately that he'd be ran into by) a child at too-late o'clock at night in a trash ridden corner of a bad neighbourhood. Even less anticipated was the brat being so incredibly obsessed with him. But at least the dumb kid had potential.

The world was unfair to those not fitting the mold. Even before Quirks, the mold expected those who were or chose to be different to bend and break to its will. It didn’t matter who got trampled in the pressure to fit in, the rush of power was addictive to those unable to see past themselves. While praise, admiration, even respect were given to those who fit the oppressive template, others faced discrimination, bullying, and derision for being plainly them. Anti-discrimination campains rarely held true to their words, meraly a reason to feed false hope of equality.
The two victims saved by none other than All Might were the perfect example of it. A group of officers and first responders scolded the sitting child that jumped in a hopeless attempt to help his friend from the Sludge criminal. His green eyes trying to evade theirs, his arms wrapped around himself defensively. The words Quirkless and dangerous rang louder than they should, making the onlookers whisper judgemently among themselves.
