Summary
Tommy gets exiled from l'manburg, forcefully told to go. So he does, he runs away from his home, continuing on his way, even when the temperature drops, even when snow starts to fall, even when he starts to lose feeling in his fingers, hoping for something to come along.
Then he practically passes out there, in the middle of the snow.
It's a good thing that Techno notices him from a far distance.

Tommy ends up at Techno's house after exile. Phil ends up joining them, soon followed by Wilbur, and after some escape attempts, a lot of glaring, and the usual bickering, Tommy decides to stay.
And then Tommy, accidentally, more or less, seals l'manburg's fate by having a family that sees him hurt, and goes "you know what would be a great revenge? :D World Domination."

Summary
With his old home unwelcoming and his new one gone, Tommy is alone. After hours of staggering through the freezing snow, he finds a house.
Technoblade’s house.
He hides himself away in the deepest corner he can find, taking only what he needs to survive, wasting away in the dark and the cold. He’s petrified at the thought of being found out, terrified of what he thinks Techno would do to him.
When Techno finds his injured, sick, unconscious teenage brother huddled in a filthy little cave beneath his basement, the rage he feels is immeasurable. The voices demand blood, and blood he will give them. Dream won’t be getting away with this one.
(On the other side of the world, in a country that floats on a man-made lake, Philza gets himself in a bit of a pickle.)

Tommy quickly threw sweater after sweater into the bag, trying to be as quick as possible. (Why was he packing again?) He’d packed everything but his food and water already, he just needed something to keep him warm. It’d be cold on the streets, after all.
‘Oh, right,’ he thinks. ‘That’s why.’ He’s homeless. And for what? Nothing.
Tommy’s hand ghosted up to the mottling bruise on his lower jaw, wondering if this was what it was like to be completely out of control of his life.

"Ranboo buried his head in his knees, taking in deep shuddering breaths as he muttered to himself in fast, stuttering words. Most of them go over his own head as he struggled to make sense of what was going on, of the information he had gotten after the explosions, after the raining canons, after his home was destroyed and after Technoblade sent him away to be safe, not even worth it in the end.
“Nothing was worth it in the end,” Ranboo mumbled to himself, pain wracking through his body as he gasped so sharply it felt like he broke a rib in the process. There was a stitch in his side that he couldn’t ignore amid his panic, as much as he tried to push it down and convince himself he wasn’t spiralling, he was thinking out loud because it organized his thoughts. He didn’t bring up the fact that he was so scared to write in his books that he would’ve rather burnt them than feel anything close to how he felt in the festival the other day."
