Summary
Klaus never realized how long a lifetime was until he spent it in the apocalypse. (Granted, he hadn’t expected to make it to 29, but here he was.)
***
Something strange happened in the timeline—something that caused Klaus to live through Vanya’s destruction, something that caused him to remember everything. From electric blue portals ripping open the sky to startlingly white violins.
Now, with a long 45 years ahead of him and a slightly traumatized brother—along with a dead one—by his side, Klaus has to figure out how to survive the apocalypse before he can stop it. (With the help of Five, of course.)
***

Summary
Five was covered in blood. There was a ringing in his left ear. In the distance he could hear sirens wailing, but it all sounded muffled, overshadowed by the roaring in his mind.
They had been here for him. They knew that he could time travel.
He needed to leave, now.
-
The want to escape becomes a need. The danger is real now, and it isn't just coming from bank robbers.
Or, the reckoning of Number Five.

Summary
“Anyways, aren’t you supposed to be sixteen? If it weren’t for the tracker I would've just passed you over as another little tyke going to kindergarten.”
The Boy smiled, shark-like. “Well, you know what they say. Time travel is a toss of the dice.”
“Is that so.” The man didn’t seem amused, but The Boy kept smiling. “Well let’s roll those dice again and get you back to headquarters.”
“I was under the impression that the Commission was finished with me after they dumped me half dead into the Apocalypse.”
“They want to talk.”
“I’ve got nothing to say.”
-
In another world, another timeline, Number Five's knowledge on time travel progressed too quickly for the Commissions liking. They pluck him out of the Apocalypse a year in, and Five escapes to March 2nd, 2006.
That changes things.

Summary
Five stood in front of her, his usual smirk dancing on his upturned lips. Blood was soaking through his old uniform, yet Five showed no weakness. It was what he was trained to do. From the time he was born, he was never allowed to show weakness or emotion, never allowed to cry. And he didn’t. Even in his worst moments, even with his family, he never showed how he was feeling, or if he was hurt.

Summary
He was done being furious about the fact that dad had ranked him behind his idiotic siblings. He knew he was better. And Five knew that his father knew that as well, it was just another way to try and control him, to keep his under his thumb.
He didn’t care. He was Number Five, and he was done playing his father’s games.

“Sonata II in E Minor.” Five said without looking back, and he heard Ben chuckle.
“F Minor. But close.” Ben tossed back, and Five swiveled around, staring at him incredulously.
“That’s not even a real key, dumbass.”
“Yes it is! Seven, tell him, F minor is so a real key-”
“Both of you shut up, you’re both wrong anyway."

Summary
It's hard not to think about their own Games- the tributes they killed, the way they were all trapped, the ways they almost died- when the Victors are facing down the invasion of the Capitol.
This is the final Arena. After spending so long trapped in secondary Arena after secondary Arena, trapped in the Capitol and in their minds and in District 13, it is finally time to escape.
The concept of escape is not one that is easily digestible for a Victor. There is no true Victory, after all. The idea that their survival could be over, that there is a way for them to live without the fear of the Capitol and a way to be happy- it almost registers as insane.
But they've never been ones for sanity, so bring on the final Games.
(The final invasion of the Capitol, and the aftermath of the Rebellion.)
