This is a companion piece to 'Wish You Were Here' and 'In the Dark' simply because I couldn't wait any longer to write about these three. You don't need to have read any of the previous series parts to follow this; if you ARE reading the previous parts this might be a bit spoiler-y, so please take that into account.
This is mostly inspired by my FC going 'oooo, we'd love a game/sitcom/anything really about Emet, Hyth and Azem'. Since I would too, I started to write it. Because it's post-Endwalker, it may turn out to be very non-canon since I don't have any real story beats to pick up on yet. No idea how long/short it's going to be either, and I do need to crack on with 'Wish You Were Here' so this might not get updated all that often.

The most esteemed Emet-Selch, the leader of all of Amaurot has one problem: he is hopelessly in love with his best friend of five centuries and fellow member of the Convocation of Fourteen, the Azem. Apparent to everyone but her, he feels the pressure from those who know him to finally make a move, though he has absolutely no clue where he stands with his best friend on that matter. After some time away from Amaurot on a mission typical of the Traveler, she finally returns to the Convocation offices and greets him as he awaits her outside the building.
Some twelve millennia later, the Warrior of Light meets the Emet-Selch... and despises him. Regardless, he has a theory, and he needs to see what happens for himself to keep him from smashing Azem's soul crystal into pieces and giving up all hope. In the meantime, after a nostalgic discussion with Ardbert, Feo Ul hatches an idea to try and cheer her up, though she has some stars to align to make it happen.
