"Our children are so excited…" Mayoi sighs, sitting back down and leaning on Tatsumi's shoulder. "Meanwhile if my horrible face shows on a camera I have no doubt people would wonder why such a monster allowed himself to be seen."
"Would a monster have his head on my shoulder?" Tatsumi asks, a tiny smile on his face while Mayoi lets out a small yelp as he discovers the contradiction between his words and actions. He doesn't move his head from its spot even though Tatsumi isn't sure if his shoulder is the most comfortable place to be.
"Shibuya, get ready for ALKALOID!" Aira cheers, waving his hand around excitedly. "The so-called underachievers are moving up in the world!"]

“I do appreciate your concern, Mayoi-san. I’ll let you know should my situation change.” Mayoi placed a trembling hand on Tatsumi’s, trusting his words through worried eyes.

His jaw could’ve hit the floor if he hadn’t shut his mouth so quickly, as not to gasp just at the suggestion. Blue eyes blown wide, the man just stared for a moment, feeling the temperature of his cheeks climbing astronomically. “Y-you want me to.. Touch myself in front of you?” He stuttered out, his mind back to buzzing as he tried desperately to comprehend what Tatsumi was asking of him.

After a little while of driving, Mayoi could still see that Tatsumi was cold, evidenced by the little twitches in his hands on the steering wheel. She reached forwards, going to turn up the heating in the car.
At the same time, Tatsumi looked towards the girl, also reaching for the heating at the same time without noticing. "Are you warm enough? It's quite chilly out." Just as he finished his question, his hand touching against Mayoi's, which was considerably warmer than his own. So much warmer that Mayoi flinched at the cold touch.
