Wei Wuxian has his own dojo-- he lives, breathes, sleeps martial arts, okay? And he knows that the students aren't actually his kids, because that would be weird, but he definitely spends most of his time thinking about them and their lesson plans and how to get them engaged.
And coffee.
He spends a lot of time thinking about when during his classes to drink coffee. And wearing something other than gi pants just seems unnecessary, because really, classes start at 3, and he doesn't wake up until 1, and why would he wear clothes for two hours only to change?
He's very content! But he does have to start actually TAKING lessons because teaching doesn't actually teach you fancy new moves. Which seems sick and wrong, but still. He runs into an old demo partner from the tournament circuit in the process
Note: the only reason the graphic depictions of violence tag is there is because, well, it IS a martial arts fic. I'll tag any real violence (and other things are tagged at the beginning of each chapter as necessary!!)

Summary
Jiang Cheng goes back to the Burial Mounds after the siege. He finds a ruined settlement and a feverish child. Then Lan Wangji turns up, half dead himself, and Jiang Cheng is not prepared for any of this. He takes them both back to Lotus Pier, because he's not leaving anyone to die on his watch, and they both need medical care.
Then they just end up...staying. At least Lan Wangji is as unimpressed with the situation as Jiang Cheng is.
(Jiang Cheng and Lan Zhan accidentally become co-parents and have to deal with the repercussions)

The manual was long, but it all boiled down to the same thing-- assess, capture, banish, assess, repeat. Keep the affected area to a minimum. Be proactive in protecting any device that can access the internet. Physical storage areas with names had to be up to standard (file boxes were allowed, so long as the lid was reinforced and could stand up to the particular talisman used), but anything else usually required paperwork and approval, even if it was retroactive. Wangji hoped everything was in file boxes this time, even though he knew it was in vain. None of his storage solutions had ever been declined, but it was a tremendous amount of paperwork, picture taking, and documentation for what was usually a relatively small collection. In this case, it was less likely to be true, and the documentation was likely to be equal to the names warded and sealed. He appreciated that.

I’m used to it.”
“Mn,” Lan Zhan says, and means, “We’ll fucking see about that.”

“No” Lan Wangji replies, and remembers to add a minute shake of his head, “I have only just arrived.”
Two minutes is not waiting, not when the bus arrives exactly on time, so it is not a lie. The fifteen minutes he spent in the car trying to meditate cannot be considered waiting, either – he knew that he arrived too early. Nor has he been waiting since this morning, or even yesterday morning when he ate his breakfast at the coffee shop, or since midday on Thursday when they decided on this date.
So no, Lan Wangji has not been kept waiting, only expecting-dreading-fretting for forty-eight hours, and now that they are both finally here Wei Ying is smiling widely at him, and Lan Wangji is uncertain what to do with that.

I've decided to step out of my comfort zone and write this Wangxian fanfic. It's a short story that I think is gonna turn out longer that I expected.
It's a Modern AU where they are in high school. In this, Wei Wuxian has ADHD and Lan Wangji has autism.
I've had this idea for a while after a conversation I had with someone on this topic and, I don't have much experience or knowledge on some of the topics but, I hope I don't offend anyone with my writing. That is not my intention at all, I just try to write what I like, and what I think will be good.

"Shufu! No! Please don't!". Wangji seemed to finally break his silence to utter those hoars, urgent words.
"I will take his place." Lan Qiren stated firmly, promptly ignoring his nephew.
“Fine, I shall allow it. Bind him.” As soon as the command is given soldiers swarm all around Qiren, forcing him to his knees and chaining his wrists behind his back. Somewhere in the background Wangjis haunted cries can be heard, bur Qiren willfully ignores them. He jolts in surprise as a metal collar clasp shut around his neck. Horror crawls through him when he cannot transfer his Qi through his body, only just realizing that his cultivation must be sealed. Exhaustion crashes over him now that he can no longer take power from his golden core. He would’ve surely met the ground face first if it weren’t for the steady hands on his shoulders. He looks up weakly, and Wen Xu barks a laugh. Lan Qirens eyes widen as he sees his precious Wangji in a very similar predicament to his own.
“Why? You said…” He rasps out weakly. Wen Xu grins sadistically, “I didn’t say anything Lan Qiren, it was you who assumed.”or:
