“So, you're Orlesian.” Varric gathered. “Bit of a strong accent, how long have you been there?”
“Ten years.” She answered.
“But you're dalish?” He hinted and she shot him a look with speculative eyes.
“I am an elf, who has a past just as you are a dwarf with one of his own.”

Meryna Trevelyan was hiding. From the world at large? From herself?
Set post-Trespasser, Meryna has gone into hiding after disbanding the Inquisition. Between losing her arm, and all of her friends going on their way, she needed to get away from her huge empty castle. Dagna and Sera accompany her to the ever lovely Rivain. The Voices from the Well of Sorrows sent her there.
And what does she find?
Another mage in hiding.
Can they get past their pasts and work together to save the world?
EDIT - Recently I was gifted with a beautifully written poem based on this very story, by the amazing Nymeria Snow. This blew me away!
Please! Go and read, enjoy it as much as I did! And still do! I've read it at least 5 times already!

After escaping from the Ostwick tower Evelyn Trevelyan finds herself in Kirkwall where she finds a familiar face from her time in Kinlock Hold. Anders helps Evelyn to find herself again and introduces her to his companions where she finds out that there is a lot more of her past in Kirkwall than she first thought. Including a Knight- Captain who she hasn't seen in a long time.
This story follows Evelyn's adventures in Kirkwall where the broody, bitter Mage finds an equally broody, bitter elf.
Tags, ratings and pairings to change as the story evolves, I currently have plans for them but will see how the story takes me!
