She tended not to question things because the answer was usually not something she wanted to hear. She had long accepted that things she may or may not have done (regardless of what she said) would follow her for as long as she lived. She had learned quickly that the world was cruel, yet as cruel as it was to her, she tried to be anything but. After a long night of uselessly scrolling on the internet, all she wanted was some coffee and to get back into her warm bed. Well, let's just say she never got that coffee.
