Summary
Himeru was many things. He was analytical, the group’s designated strategist and informant. He was patient — thank god he was patient, else he would’ve gone mad from dealing with Rinne long ago. He was skilled at making quick decisions when it counted and skilled in self-preservation, determining exactly how much about himself he could disclose while still managing to hold everyone at an arm’s length.
Himeru was many things. An assassin was not one of them.

Niki… didn’t have much experience with being homesick, really. He’d been stuck in the same country, the same home his entire life, and he knew far more about being the one left behind than the one doing the leaving. Still, the one way to cheer a person up when they were feeling down in the dumps was universal, and he’d long mastered the recipe for that.

alternatively: a sort of character introspection of oremeru (HiMERU?) and ogmeru (kaname)Kaname always liked the sound of the waves. Small or big, gentle or turbulent. So much that he would often kidnap him on a quick road trip down to the beach after school. They would either drive along this same stretch of asphalt when the weather was soon to take a turn for the worse, or walk down to the shore, shoes in hand and pants rolled up to their knees when the weather was kind.
HiMERU misses it. These simpler times.
