“And while Bo-Katan has not only a son but also a grandson, I do not.”
“Where are you going with this?” Din asks with obvious strain.
“If I do not produce an immediate heir, then the title of Mand’alor will be passed over from my bloodline to Bo-Katan’s. Which means—”
Luke’s eyes widen in horror, Din’s grip tightening on his hand.
“I’d become the next sole heir to the throne,” he says, tone neutral and void of all emotion.

Luke and Din had it all planned out. They have a cottage waiting for them in the Keldabe countryside, calling to Luke with the promise of a real home, and a wedding to plan. But when Satine informs them Din is set to be the next king of Mandalore, all of their plans are put on pause and their lives uprooted. Can Luke adjust to Sundari's customs and win over the favour of the Ruling Council or is his and Din's future together in jeopardy once more?
