There are very few days Wilbur really thinks about Earth.
It’s a consequence of space, he thinks- it’s hard to focus on the small things of a life that feels so different that it might as well be completely separate, past divided by a thin line delineating the firm difference between Then and Now.
And even if he does- when he does, really. As much as he’d like to pretend, he’s not a good enough liar for that one- usually, a long look out the port window showing space in all its vast, unending blackness staves it off pretty well.
He is among the stars. There is always, always that.(Running away doesn't solve all your problems, Wilbur is beginning to realize. Even if you end up running very, very far.)

Summary
Hi everyone, by now I am sure you all have heard about Technoblade's passing. My deepest condolences to his friends and family alike. I dedicate this fanfic to him as a sort of parting gift and good luck charm that will hopefully help him in his battle against overthrowing God. Even though I never knew him I feel as if I lost someone close to me. And in some way I did I stuck around and watched as he grew his channel and meet new people. I was there for the potato war and his pvp battle with dream. I was a supporter and I can't even express how grateful I am for that title.

Summary of the fic-Technoblade has been staying with the sbi crew for a few months now after they had rescued him from illegal smugglers that had taken him from Earth. They get along great and had no problems until recently. The sbi crew noticed that something was off with techno as of late more specifically his hair.
This story is not original I read a similar story probably like a year ago an that is where I got the idea from. I will link the fic if I find it.

As Wilbur was about to push the glass window down, a loud boom erupted, waves of wind buffeting to the window and shaking it so it cracked at the edges.
In shock and full-blown panic he looked up and gaped at what he saw. Something had exploded in the sky, showering bits of flaming debris as a massive structure hauled its way towards the fields of grass that lay below. Orange light lit in a bright and eye-catching contrast to the black night, falling almost gracefully to the ground.

"Wow." Techno said in Common, the alien's disconcertingly human looking eyes blowing wide as they looked up at Ranboo. "Enders really are tall aren't they." They quickly tacked on the verbal emotional indicator that meant 'this is a compliment' because tone could get lost between accents or cultures. Ranboo appreciated it, as the Brawler had a very monotone manner of speech.
But still, Ranboo felt he was going to be getting that a lot. Humans, or 'Enders' as everyone else called them, had a reputation after all.

Wilbur boards The Twitch when he’s 20.
It’s- a jarring transition, to say the least. He’d gotten some preliminary space training, some documents saying which planet he’s from and that he’s not a criminal, et cetera et cetera- but other than that, Wilbur is basically kicked into a world of neverending galaxies, new and young and unaware of what exactly he’s supposed to be doing.
Too young to explore the stars, too old to discover new continents, his parents and grandparents had said, and Wilbur had thought it would be his reality, too.
And then it wasn’t.

The thing Wilbur keeps coming back to, petulant as it is, is that this is all incredibly unfair.
They’ve all been onboard The Twitch for a week straight, give or take, traveling through hyperspace as much as the ship’s engine and hyperdrive can take for such a long journey. Deep space is fast approaching, which is something the natural galaxy-hoppers hesitate at, let alone any one planet-bound species like humans. He’s probably the only human for thousands of kilometers around, at this point.
So where the fuck did he pick up a virus?
(Wilbur gets sick onboard. And, being Wilbur, attempts to hide it from the rest of his confused but concerned alien crew.)

Tommy has a secret. No one knows. Not the nice lady at the corner store, not the weird guy at the video game store, not Tubbo, and certainly not any of his housemates. He's an alien, sent to study Earth. It's not easy, keeping that secret when he's living with three humans, but he can do it, he's sure.
Wilbur has a secret. He's not told a soul and never intends to . He's an alien, sent to study humans on Earth, so that his people can make first official contact. It's not easy hiding what he truly is, especially when it comes to his three human housemates.
Technoblade has a secret. He's very good at keeping it, but sometimes it's... difficult, around his three human housemates. Loathe as he is to admit it, Technoblade cares about them, and perhaps even feels guilt over his lies. His race wants him to determine whether or not Earth is an ally or an invasion site. But, for the sake of his people and new friends, he will keep his secret.
Phil does not have a secret. He has never, once in his life, kept his mouth shut, even when Puffy tells him to. It's not his fault no one else believes aliens exist. At least his new housemates, normal as they are, seem to tolerate it better than the last guys.

Phil hadn't expected to be captured by aliens to be studied. It just wasn't something that happened to boring people like him. He didn't know where he was, how long he'd slept, how far he was from home. All he'd seen for the past week was this dull grey box, the only thing to do in order to prevent going insane being pacing, and humming songs to himself. He doesn't imagine he'll get a chance to escape from this cell before he loses his mind, not even knowing what his captors look like.
Although, when a feathered alien, black and white and bright red, is thrown into his cell, he starts to have a little more hope. Two against many are better odds than fighting on your own.

The human heard a slightly shifting sound then he heard a sound of metal being hit right by him. It echoed slightly off the vents walls in an unpleasant way.
He turned and was face to face with the scary pig that liked swords too much. The red and black eyes were locked onto him through the metal bars that kept them separated. Wilburs breath caught in his throat in shock.
The sound he had heard was the pig leaning in closer to look at him and putting their dull claws to the metal. Wilbur stood frozen, now alert, his blood rushing in fear. Then the pig pulls at the vent cover which pulls away easily to the giants' strength.
"Oh shit!" That was all Wilbur needed to snap out of shock and run for his life. Behind him he heard banging, as the vent trembled with the entrance of the alien's hand, the thing was barely able to fit in the vent, but the alien was determined on catching Wilbur. He stumbled and ran as the hand hit the side of the metal making the floor shake under him.
Or
Wilbur is a small human stowaway on the space ship the Syndicate, he had every intention of not being discovered and leaving as soon as he could. Fate had other ideas.

Summary
Ranboo is familiar with Earth only in a second-hand way, the way someone taking the time to passionately describe every little detail they can remember makes you feel. Because, despite being human, Ranboo himself has never set one foot on Earth in his entire life.
It doesn't bother him as much as the nagging feeling that someone out there is waiting for him to return home. He forgets where that is though. He doubts it's with Dream (even if the other humans seem nice), and he knows it's not with this runaway shapeshifter and his very alien crew, but maybe he can settle for something and it'll be enough.
Unfortunately, it's not that simple. Nothing ever is when you're a human in space.
