Summary
Quackity knew of the popular headcanons for him and Dream’s character in the SMP. He knew the common dynamic of angst, had even laughed at a couple of the fanfictions written. A couple had been enough to make him shiver, reading the horrifying recreations of what it was like in the prison. In fact, he had talked with Dream about it, who, also laughing, agreed with some of the fandom’s decisions.
Day by day, strange things started occurring during their meetup in Florida. Strange scars and bruises appeared on both of them, though Dream more significantly.
It was only when he walked into Dream’s room to discover him half-blind, pressed into the corner, and hyperventilating that he realized that maybe the SMP was more real than he thought.

He’ll admit it, making the most hideous sounds he can think of is very common and it’s second nature. But Dream can also talk, it might not be his go-to reaction but he can do it.

Dream is a human in a world where humans have been wiped out for their crimes against other races and now roam the streets like rats, trying to survive. He gets captured by Karl and Quackity but his worry only grows as Sapnap tries to make it clear that he won't be hurt.

The letter looked too fancy to be sitting in an eleven years old stack of gifts. The paper of it looked old and worn, and a strange symbol printed into the wax melt that was holding the letter inside secured.
But his name was notably plastered on the front of it, the loopy cursive of it stared back at him as he turned back to his mother, his curiosity was piqued now and he wondered what the envelope contained.
She would deny it still to this day, but Karl swears that when she turned around, her face paled slightly when she peeked at the envelope in his hand.
He almost passed it to her before he caught a glimpse and saw another name scrawled on the other side of it.
Retracting his hand, he flipped the envelope over and was equally even more stunned when he saw ‘Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry’ Scribbled on the front.

100% is a probability that won’t show up until the end. You could be very very sure of something, believe in it with your entire being, but there will always be that tiny probability, the 0.000001% chance that you’re wrong. A tiny sliver whose percentage is too small to be counted on the pie chart. A drop of water in the ocean. A grain of sand on a beach. Always that tiny chance that ruins the idea of 100%.
This is a lot of maths, and a lot of numbers but let one thing be clear here.
The next time 100% is mentioned in this story will be in the wake of a tragedy.or Quackity was perfectly happy running his casino and being respected and feared as an informant until a particular hero and a journalist start intruding on his life. It's when he starts to get attached that it occurs that oh, this situation might be a little more complicated than first anticipated.
