For an S tier like Alex death is less than permanent, but he comes back to a world that has moved on from him, and a very different Morgan to the one he left behind.
This was entirely inspired by and based on 'The One Where Alex Dies' by Moooses, where I started to think about what would happen if Alex came back after Morgan has basically gone feral. And I came up with this so enjoy.

Morgan was about 25 years old when their Grandfather died. It was a sad experience for everyone in the family, but Morgan’s grief didn’t last as long as everyone else’s. Of course, they were devastated, but they didn’t exactly have a strong relationship with him. Their Grandfather was reclusive, always working away in his workshop on his next toy. They had met him a few times, they admired his tenacity for creating new contraptions, but they barely talked. It also didn’t help when Morgan moved away from Massachusetts to New York. It was only a state away, but Morgan never visited and neither did he.
In short, Morgan wasn’t expecting anything when his will was read. While their siblings got more expensive items, like his house, boat, savings, etcetera, Morgan was surprised to have received one thing. A deed to a house in a town they had never heard of. The idea of moving into a big house in a small town appealed to them far more than their current situation– living in a studio apartment in the metropolis. So, they packed up their things and drove away.

Alex is a high ranking knight in their kingdom with a simple stealth mission to carry out.
Morgan is the prince who decided to run away and become a farmer in the kingdom next door.
When two kingdoms have a strong alliance yet an incredibly petty rivalry things can get chaotic.. especially when their friendly arguements start revolving about each kingdoms security..
(Alex is sent to kidnap the prince from the neighbouring kingdom so that the royal family can prove they have better security however after running into some problems they end up working with a nice farmer who suspiciously knows a lot about the kingdom and infiltration missions. Morgan (the farmer) decides to help a very egocentric knight in their quest to kill a prince in hopes that it's his brother. )
What could possibly go wrong?

The coffin Lid bursts open and a very dorky, curly haired boy wears all dark clothes and a scarf to hide the lower half of his face. Alex could barely see the boy's large brown eyes and the brown skin that accompanied them. The skin reminded Alex of a newborn fawn but instead of white splotches darker freckles spotted around his eyes. Long story short, the man robbing his grave was very cute and also very confused at the very not dead body.
