All at once, the radio came on, startling her so much she jumped, snatching her hand back. She hadn’t actually thought it would work. Pleasantly surprised after the initial scare, she smiled, reaching out once more. But paused, when the little cream-colored speakers began to glow red.
For a moment, all there was was the sound of static, fading in and out as though tuning in to a channel.
Then, a disarmingly chipper voice said “Well, hello there darling! Why it’s been ages since you’ve been around! Tell me, what kept you?”

It was the chipper year of 1933. Alastor was in his mid 20's, being a typical radio host by day..but by night he was up to no good. Due to his newfound passion for the kill, Charlie whom was in hell wanted to intervene, sure she didn't have to but she had nothing better to do due to her old project failing on her. With her own power (and her father allowing her); she Left hell and went to earth..to possibly stop Alastor and help him to ensure his redemption and ticket into heaven. She was no angel, but being the daughter of a fallen one is all it took.

New Orleans, 1926. Charlie Magne was the daughter of old money. From the city to the stock market her family had their hands in every pot. In her parent’s ideal world, she was to marry into a wealthy family for connections and continue her mother’s work with the city’s richest, but Charlie never wanted that. Her father was a reasonable man, she could make him see things her way... maybe (though her time was ticking).
Alistair was a coincidence, a happy happenstance. And her way out. She shouldn’t have been surprised when she fell in love with him. Before, it had been enough to know that he had loved her.
