“Yibo! Pixiu!” Xiao Zhan can only laugh as Yibo kisses his neck. While Pixiu licks his left cheek enthusiastically, his hot breath fanning over his side. Xiao Zhan raises his hands to cup the back of their heads, gently caressing the two awkwardly over the weird angle knowing full well that they will not let him fall.

When his innocence was finally proven to the world who had once labelled him as a criminal and casted him out, Lan wangji wanted nothing more then to bring his fiance back home.
Wei Wuxian had long left them and gone somewhere far away unable to handle the humiliation and slander thrown upon him.
To, Lan wangji and wei wuxian's family and friends, he had just disappeared into thin air after the incident.
Years passed, new scars settled over the old ones over the time but, the pain of losing the love of his life five years ago was still very much fresh. Lan wangji continued to live in denial and slowly turned into a man he swore he'd never become.

“So, you came to gawk at me like all the others have.” Xie Yun crosses his arms, displeased. He leans backwards, calmly avoiding two wires intersecting where his head had been moments earlier, then rights himself into a spinning jump to land on a neighbouring rock.
“The stories I’ve heard mentioned a pretty lady, and you…” Ji Chong very obviously sweeps his eyes over Xie Yun’s body. “…you are no lady.”
Xie Yun uncrosses his arms and smiles encouragingly. “I am pretty, though. You can’t deny.”
“I can’t.” A wire comes at a particularly difficult angle to dodge and Ji Chong is forced to take full advantage of his own acrobatics to balance upside down on one hand to avoid it.
When he is on two feet again, Ji Chong says “The townsfolk hate you.”
“They hate me? That’s a bit strong."
“Apparently you, uh, did some… things.” Ji Chong realises mid-sentence how little he knows about what’s going on between this man (his bounty), and the townsfolk (his client).

Ji Chong and Xie Yun meet and get to be the main characters in their own slow burn, plot-filled, love story that borrows some aspects, characters, and locations from both Legend of Fei and The Wolf.

“Fuck, I forgot you were here, where the hell were you all this time?” he asked, holding his heart.
“Hiding in the kitchen! What the actual fuck was that?” Yu Bin asked incredulously, gesturing to where Yibo had been sitting.
“That? Oh he was… well, uh… he was…” Xiao Zhan stuttered, trying to think of an explanation.
“You don’t fucking need to tell me who that was. Am I blind? Your son is basically a mini-me of that man…” Xiao Zhan stopped talking.
“I just…. I can’t believe he’s actually real. All this time Ziyi and I were convinced you were making him up because you had no clue who A-Yuan’s dad was…”
“Huh?” That definitely wasn't what Xiao Zhan had been expecting.
He wasn't sure if he was more surprised about the fact that Yu Bin had recognized Yibo without introduction, or that his friends thought he was the type to have made up his son's father entirely after a one-night stand gone wrong.

Yeah, is all he sends back. He tries to line up words to say next, but his brain is thrumming with bewildered exhaustion. He's staring down, thoughts moving sluggishly, as the screen dims for a moment, Xiao Zhan's text coming in right before it locks itself.
