Fandoms: All For The Game - Nora Sakavic
09 Oct 2016
Briefly, because he knows they’ll only be in the car for another couple of minutes at absolute maximum, he watches Andrew for any break in the impassivity.
There’s the faintest twitch, which Neil assumes is Andrew registering his attention, but he’s not sure if it’s anger, embarrassment, annoyance- honestly, it could be anything. Then Andrew’s face settles. Neil doesn’t move, though, content to watch the way the passing lights change Andrew’s profile and colouring. If Neil were an artist, he thinks he’d want to paint this.

“You’re back,” Roland says, looking surprised.
“Well, Andrew punched a guy for me. I owe him a life debt,” Neil replies.
Andrew rolls his eyes and pushes the tray forward towards Roland, who levels Andrew an unimpressed look and starts refilling glasses. “Still going strong, then?”
Neil remembers Roland’s throwaway ‘boyfriend’ comment from last time, and looks at Andrew. “He’s not leaving me alone,” Andrew replies, but he doesn’t sound annoyed about it.
Neil smiles. “Hey, you’re the one who recites poetry.”
