Summary
The end of The Septimus Wave is absolutely horrifying to me. Eleven men are nearly catatonic, unable to help themselves or express any desires or sorrows. Awful! Olrik is one of them, and according to the timeline he's supposed to commit a few more capers later in the year. How is he supposed to recover and get out?
Part of this story depicts my idea of what the men are going through. It's not a realistic depiction of mental illness in any way, but I hope it's creepy and horrifying.
