Arthur struggled in Lewis’ grip, but it was no use. The wraith was too full of rage and misery to even think about letting him get away this time. Purple eyes filled with fire, Lewis allowed his human visage to overtake his features, glaring at Arthur as recognition finally crossed his face.
And the wraith let go. Watched Arthur fall. That was what he wanted, what Arthur deserved.
So why did it feel so wrong?
“Oh Lewis. What did you do?”
