The other man had the most perfect lips in existence (no, Lan Wangji was not at all biased, it was just a fact), but they somehow looked even more perfect now, reflecting the light with slight shimmers, as if they were wet.
Wei Wuxian likes to wear lipstick. Lan Wangji likes to observe.

His brows furrowed as he moved to the top lip; Lan Wangji tried not to move. Wei Wuxian’s tongue was poking out slightly, focusing on applying the gloss. Sometimes, he’d swipe a careful finger over the edges of Lan Wangji’s mouth to wipe off any stray product, reverently.
Lan Wangji tries on his boyfriend's lipstick. It doesn't go quite as planned (but it ends for the better).
