“Oh, he’s interested.”
“Then what? Why are you here...?”
“I just have to sink him in by end of the night, not right this moment.” Stephen set the still full glass down at the bar table. He wants to be completely sharp for the rest of this. Without really meaning to, he found his next fix. A very exciting, intoxicating, utterly delightful fix.
“Rushing only makes things incredibly mundane. A man like that wants a chase. Wants to feel like he had a choice.”
Stephen makes a play for Tony Stark at a high society gala

The war is over. The rogues are back. Steve is definitely not over it. There are lots of secrets about to implode. Tony just really wants his recovered relationship with Stephen to work. And Peter just wants everyone to leave his dads alone.
(With a lot of flashback into the past of how Stephen and Tony met before Iron Man 1, got together, fell apart, only to have all roads lead back to each other again.)

During a mission accident, Steve, Barnes, Sam, Clint, Natasha, Bruce, and Thor are thrown back to December of 2011. In hopes of trying to make their way back to year 2024, they seek out Tony of this timeline for help. Except... this Tony never met any of them except Natasha.
Perhaps aided with knowledge of the future, Steve and this past!Tony gets along great from the start. In fact, the resident billionaire quickly becomes very doting to all his future teammates.
But if the rogues thought the situation would be easier with this Stephen Strange not knowing any of them (minus Nat) AND lacking superpowers... they were sorely mistaken. Stephen, the young, successful neurosurgeon, is much more arrogant, chaotic, impulsive, and far more difficult to keep alive than Stephen, the Sorcerer Supreme. ...So much so Cap is about to lose it. Especially since this Tony's good graces seems very much tied to his boyfriend being safe and alive. And Steve is definitely not ready for this Tony to hate him too.
