Summary
The silhouette next to him becomes clearer and clearer and as it does, Catra starts to feel dizzy.
Strong arms, blonde ponytail, familiar squared shoulders.
It kind of looks like—-
No.
No.
She was past this. She used to think she saw her all the time and it would send her skittering to the closest dark and small space to collapse into tears. She lived in California now. Everyone was strong and tall and blonde. And yes, Bow went to U-Penn and she’s pretty sure that’s where she had ended up going because that had always been the plan, but it was a huge place. The chances were basically none.
There’s just no way.
Or
Catra leaves Adora in the middle of night with no explanation to pick up the pieces. When they see other again, the past comes back to haunt them both.
Or
The Exes AU where they both heal and finally do things right.

Summary
“Could I get your number?” they ask, as if they’re not still a completely faceless enigma that’s been making one-sided passes for two weeks now.
“So I’m supposed to exchange messages with someone who I wouldn’t even be able to pick out of a police lineup if this ends up being just a long con to get me to join a cult?”
To her shock, they place an elbow on the bar, lean over, and lower the hood.
“Does this increase my chances?” they ask with a goofy smile.
They're cute. Like 90s teen drama cute. Like Catra could see them singing fucking annoying pop songs outside her window cute. That’s not good. This person is absolutely trouble.
“Fuck,” Catra breathes out. It kinda feels like someone just kicked her right in the gut in a thrilling way. “You couldn’t have the decency to make this easier by being ugly?”
Catra finally meets the woman of her dreams/nightmares. A goofball blonde with big captain save-a-ho energy. She's easy going, gets Catra's jokes, and likes her band, even though it's pretty shitty and Catra's sabotaging them from the inside. It's just a shame that the girl is already competing on a reality show for 20 women's hearts.

You can see it by searching #celestialau on Twitter - there's some fantastic art out there for it.
Adora has gone, vanished from Heaven. Catra's getting over it, slowly. It's been over a century, after all. She is content to oversee her little corner of Paradise - monitoring and dealing with the minor issues of occult incursion on earth. That is, until reports of a major demon on earth cause worries among Heaven's bureaucracy. Catra decides to take the lead, if only to get away from the monotony.
It's been a while since she visited Earth - what surprises will be in store for her? What nefarious plans does this demon have? And will Bow ever stop trying to make other people fall in love?

Summary
Adora has always had a hard time making choices, but Catra has always been there to help her through high school. Adora is faced with a hard one now as she leaves for college. Catra helps her make the right decision, and helps her heal in the process.
There were two choices that were easy to make though: 1. Buying Catra’s car. 2. Never giving up.
Hold on, hold on with me.

Summary
Former teammates become arch-rivals when Catra and Adora enter the collegiate volleyball scene at their respective universities.
--
“You need to leave,” Adora mutters.
“What? It’s not like I’m going to see anything I haven’t seen before,” Catra teases, her arms folded across her chest while her tail lashes behind her, side to side.
“Fine,” Adora grunts, tugging off her jersey, “but only if we can talk about what happened at semi-finals.” That memory seems to slow Catra down, and Adora finally feels like she has the upper hand in the conversation as Catra’s tail stops swaying, lowering timidly behind her. Stripping off her sports bra and the final layers of her clothing, she can’t help but notice how Catra is staring off into some lockers.
“You already said everything you needed to say."
