It’s been months since Rasputin and Disappear-O the Magnificent almost sent Tony and the others to a watery grave. Things have been pleasantly looking up since then. For starters, Tony felt as close as ever with the kid. Of course, trying to distinguish the difference between normal teenage angst and something else that could be seriously wrong with his protege was proving to be...a challenge. And walking into the kitchen to find the Winter Soldier eating his food was not helping.
Meanwhile, Peter has a whole new school year to look forward to. And with the addition of old friends popping back into his life, he was sure things could only get better from this point on. Sure, sleeping was a little rough lately, but no big deal. And he really needed to figure out how to remove this black slime from his backpack. But yeah, everything’s great.
Things were great. Totally great.
Although, now that he was being honest with himself, Peter was feeling a bit sick lately. And for real, what was with this black slime?
(Or: OsCorp is inadvertently ruining everyone's lives and Tony is done with this B.S. Protective Avengers and Shameless Peter Whump.)

In 2023, the battle for the universe has been won. At a cost no one can forget, the fight is over—for all but one.
Stephen Strange has an idea. An impossible idea spanning dimensions and timelines, life and death, and the lines of good and evil. But he's played impossible odds before—perhaps he never stopped.
All that Loki wanted was to fight, one last time, for the fate of his universe. So when he finds himself fighting for another, crashing into the past, he has a few intended words for the wizard that forced him there.
But not before he finds a boy. Or, more accurately, before the boy finds him.
Peter Parker has been waiting for the next mission. He just doesn't expect it to come from the future, armed with a ridiculous story demanding a ridiculous quest. And he doesn't expect not to be able to tell Mr. Stark.
Tony Stark is trying to rebuild from the Civil War, knowing that someday, something will come that he needs to be ready for. And he doesn't know it yet, but two universes are trying to rebuild around him, and that something is already here.
Seven Stones. Five dead. Two universes. And one impossible quest to tie it all back together.
Peter has the gauntlet, the stones already in place. Aliens are beginning to swarm him and in the overwhelming panic that begins to consume, he does the only thing he can think of. He shoves his hand into the gauntlet.

Head Down. Mouth shut. Quiet. Survive.
Peter knows the drill. Richard Parker has been carving it into him for years now. Follow. Repeat. Do as you're told. But things get complicated after Germany, after Tony Stark. And suddenly the line starts getting blurry.
Meanwhile, with the Avengers scattered and the Accords in pieces, Tony's a mess who's ready to crash and burn. Enter Spider-Kid, complete with bruises, excuses and a deep, dark secret that stretches far further than Tony first thought.
Disjointed, dysfunctional, disastrous.
Nothing can seem to describe the sheer catastrophe in waiting that lurks closer every second they spend together. Tony's depressed. Peter's afraid. They're both wrecks apart. Imagine the chaos that would come by putting them together.
Still, who better to help a hero than another hero?

The sharp sensation that jolted his body was too familiar. He widened his eyes and stared at his mentor in absolute fear. He knew exactly what his senses were screaming at him for. Just like that freezing December night, this was not his end but might as well be given what would inevitably follow. “No - Please don’t go. Please -”

“Boss has programmed me to always listen, even when inert. At the use of the word ‘underoos,’ a new file has been unlocked.” Peter’s eyebrows furrowed, setting the headpiece back on his lap. His alternative selves remained silent, listening in awe. He wondered if AI’s existed in their universes.
“What kind of file is it?”
“A video file. Boss requested that it can only be viewed by you under two circumstances: you must say ‘underoos’ and in the event of his death.” He froze at that, eyes widening as realization hit him like a semi-truck.
Tony left him a video. A video that he could only watch if he had died. A final goodbye message to him.
OR, the one where Peter One discovers one last message to him from Tony Stark. Good thing he has his Spider-Bros for emotional support.

Pete, peep, and peter are the trio we have all been waiting for and the bond they have in this is adorable. This is heart wrenching and tear jerking but a new comfort fic.
