Something was up with Eijun.
Not necessarily something wrong, but there was something up with him nonetheless. And it had been that way for at least all of the time Miyuki had known him.
He hadn’t gone bathing with the team even once. He always waited to change his clothes until everyone else had left, or he hid in a corner and changed so fast it was impossible to get even the slightest glimpse at his skin.
It wasn’t so much the fact that he didn’t get to see Sawamura’s skin as it was the reasoning behind it.

Really, there were many types of prodigies in the world. Take the Seido prodigies for example. If Miyuki was a prodigy in catching and mind games, Chris in planning and strategizing, Satoru in pitching and baseball in general, then Eijun was probably a prodigy at manipulation and his teammates can only begrudgingly accept the reality that in the end, no one can really refuse him. Unfortunately, the three people so caught in Sawamura's trap were all so stupidly oblivious and it's up to them to make sure that no one dies in the process.
