Head Down. Mouth shut. Quiet. Survive.
Peter knows the drill. Richard Parker has been carving it into him for years now. Follow. Repeat. Do as you're told. But things get complicated after Germany, after Tony Stark. And suddenly the line starts getting blurry.
Meanwhile, with the Avengers scattered and the Accords in pieces, Tony's a mess who's ready to crash and burn. Enter Spider-Kid, complete with bruises, excuses and a deep, dark secret that stretches far further than Tony first thought.
Disjointed, dysfunctional, disastrous.
Nothing can seem to describe the sheer catastrophe in waiting that lurks closer every second they spend together. Tony's depressed. Peter's afraid. They're both wrecks apart. Imagine the chaos that would come by putting them together.
Still, who better to help a hero than another hero?

In 2023, the battle for the universe has been won. At a cost no one can forget, the fight is over—for all but one.
Stephen Strange has an idea. An impossible idea spanning dimensions and timelines, life and death, and the lines of good and evil. But he's played impossible odds before—perhaps he never stopped.
All that Loki wanted was to fight, one last time, for the fate of his universe. So when he finds himself fighting for another, crashing into the past, he has a few intended words for the wizard that forced him there.
But not before he finds a boy. Or, more accurately, before the boy finds him.
Peter Parker has been waiting for the next mission. He just doesn't expect it to come from the future, armed with a ridiculous story demanding a ridiculous quest. And he doesn't expect not to be able to tell Mr. Stark.
Tony Stark is trying to rebuild from the Civil War, knowing that someday, something will come that he needs to be ready for. And he doesn't know it yet, but two universes are trying to rebuild around him, and that something is already here.
Seven Stones. Five dead. Two universes. And one impossible quest to tie it all back together.

Peter scrambles away, panic filling his chest. “Don’t come near me!” He yells at illusion, who just blinks. “Don’t- don’t-”
“Peter, what’s wrong?”
Peter wants to cry.
“Stop it!” he shrieks, and he can feel his chest seize with panic but his Spider-sense isn’t working- why isn’t it working? His skin tingles, and he knows that his Spider-sense is never wrong, but this is impossible, Tony is dead, Mr. Stark is dead, and has been dead for the past nine months! It doesn’t matter how realistic it looks, from his hair to his eyes to the way he holds- held himself up. This. Can’t. Be. Real. (Can it?)
“Get away from me!” Peter yells. “I’m not falling for it, Mysterio!”
“Did you just- did you just call me fucking Mystery Man? What kind of name is that?”
