“I thought going to the beach on a hot day would be a good way to cool down. But–” The water was dripping from Alec’s body, his abs glistening, the sun was over him, making him shine, his swim trunks clinging to his thighs making them look thicker. “Now I’m hot in a different way.”
Did Alec hide all of that under those sweaters? That should be a crime.
Also, the slow motion was unnecessary. He looked like someone out of the Baywatch movies. Alec was already hotter than hell; Magnus didn’t need more convincing.
“The gym paid off, I see,” Simon commented next to Catarina.
Magnus looked at both his sides to see that everyone was looking at the same thing: this new and improved Alec.
I’m doing this in the old-fashioned way because getting to talk to you is so hard.
I see you, darling. Don’t be shy. I know that you look at me when you think I’m not looking and that’s a damn shame, don’t you think?
But anyway, Rafa wrote my phone number and, as a teacher, I’m really proud because he worked so hard to write them.

“Alec- I,” Magnus took a breath, his hand shaking. He tried to secure his phone’s position, and started again. “Alec. Are you busy right now?” He put the book, that goddamn picture book with all those memories in them, on the floor next to him and pulled his legs up to his chest.
