BAMF Without Bashing
Logic is sexy, even in a fictional setting. BAMFs are sexy, no matter where they are.
This collection is dedicated to the fantastic fiction that combines Logic and BAMF to negate the annoyances that plague Bash-prolific stories. I like a good Face-slapping, but not when the antagonist could get punched through a wall and still not understand why it's happening. So, this is for the self-aware characters that know when and where to slap, and for the self-aware antagonists that know when and where they're being slapped.
Nothing is more satisfying.

Later, T'Challa would remember it like a blur. He couldn’t say if he screamed or not, nor if he gestured. He did remember running, and the awful realization that, though he tried with all his might, he wouldn’t make it in time. The helplessness he felt, that shiver of it, was something that was shocking in its darkness, because for all that T'Challa had fought, for all he had struggled, for all he had learned, and for all he had gained, he was still too slow.
BOOM. Just that. A thunderous boom and T'Challa's world changed.
In which Tony saves T'Chaka, T'Challa is grateful, and they both are all the better for it.

So Jarvis is the one who pulls her up onto her feet, presses a tool into one hand and a book into the other and tells her to create. Tells her that if the numbers and the shapes and images in her mind hurt so bad then she should build them, should give them form so that they can finally leave her alone.
Jarvis is the one who finally teaches her how to breathe.
Toni Stark grows up with the tale of Icarus swirling in the back of her mind. Instead of taking it as a precautionary tale about hubris and overreaching she decides it's more about the limitations of wax.
Years later when she builds herself wings of her own she makes sure to build them out of better material.

Hatake Kakashi had a problem.
Some would argue that he has many problems but while they may be right, he's perfectly content ignoring them. And denial. He's very good at denial.
Well, this time, technically he had three genin-shaped problems, but right now his most troublesome - ah, he can practically feel the Nara cringing - problem is a student so covered in scented lotion, shampoo, and soap that she could qualify as an implement of torture.
This needed a kunoichi's touch.
Preferably one without a team of her own, definitely not someone who would traumatize them even more... Ah ha. He's a genius. Yes, Nagisa Asuka will be perfect.
Hopefully, she won't stab him when he asks. People often try to stab him. He wonders why.
